Our Mission Statement
It is our mission to share the extraordinary stories of the bravery, treachery, wisdom, and tyranny of the kings of old. History can sometimes be terrible, but it can also be wonderful – and it most certainly shouldn’t be forgotten.
We begin our look at history in the year 1066, when the first Norman King took up the English crown. You can expect our articles to focus on the personal stories of the figures in, and the events that dominated English history for a thousand years. We will not only provide dates and accounts of what happened in these times and places, we will try to sift out the hidden values of such a dangerous world.
When we honer the past, we honer our deepest selves and our unused strength. Let us, therefore, immerse ourselves in the fascinating thing that is history.
Author Bio
Maricruz Minter is a college graduate with associates degrees in English and Spanish. Fortunate enough to do well in the language department, she joined and became president of Sigma Delta Mu honers society. She has always been passionate about literature and the arts. Once graduated, she began writing articles for HubPages while exercising her other passion – working with horses and farm animals.
Continuing her education beyond the classroom, she discovered a deep interest in history and has amassed an impressive home library. In an effort to share and pass this knowledge on, she became interested in forming this blog for you, the avid reader.
On a personal note, she enjoys nature walks, coffee, and good company. She spends her days rearing her two young children and caring for her husband.
